What happens in a day? What are the things that capture our attention? What are the things we take for granted? Can objects tell the story of one day? Can a day tell the story of a life?

In the Museum of Days, artist Jo Anne V. Coruña collects and exhibits details of days, carefully illustrating objects and curating notes, giving us a compendium of fascinating lives. The artist guides her subjects through an exercise of mindfulness and reflection for one day, asking them to photograph objects they naturally encounter and to jot down notes of observation and thoughtful reflection. The artist hopes that the particular, the personal, and the peculiar details displayed in the Museum of Days will lead to more curiosity, empathy, and delight, inspiring us to live better days and, consequently, better lives.
